Furnished, private basement suite with all you need for a comfortable stay.
Fully separate suite with Kitchen. You will have your own bathroom, office area with desk, kitchenette with appliances, (single induction stovetop, toaster oven, Microwave, full size fridge with Freezer) table with chairs, bedroom with queen bed and closet space, and living room with sofa bed that pulls to a double size bed. 45" TV with Roku box, WiFi.
Shared entrance with keypad code and a sliding door that keeps the basement suite fully separated. We live upstairs.
In the summer you will have access to the backyard, patio dining area, BBQ and firepit. Well, in the winter too if you are into it.
If your stay is longer than a week we would need to use the washer and dryer -which are in the basement- and we can previously agree when that will be so that you can enjoy full privacy.
Very quiet residential neighbourhood. There are parks and stores within walking distance. There are bus stops within an 5 min walk, with routes to the airport, downtown. A bus ride to downtown is around 40 min and to the airport 20 min. 15-20 minute drive to the airport. We are located 2 minutes driving from the Perimeter Highway which is very convenient for getting in and out of the city or if you are looking to rest for the night in Winnipeg before continuing your drive East or West.

Summary: The place was exactly as advertised in terms of cleanliness, location and price. The only thing that I found to be different than what I was used to was the entrance but it was never an issue for the duration of the stay. The beds were soft and welcoming, with clean linens and all the pillows one could ask for. The facilities were clean and stocked. It helped us to feel more at home away from home. The host communicated effectively and efficiently. All in all, this is a great place to stay and the next time I come in to Winnipeg, I will definitely be looking to see if this location is open.

Summary: We were staying in Winnipeg for 2 weeks to visit family. Daniel's suite was perfect. It is just as it appears in the photographs (except ofcourse for the summer view of the back yard - we were here in winter). Daniel has thought of everything that one might need and provided much more than we imagined. A well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Every possible implement for cooking. There was shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The rooms were warm and comfortable despite the cold outside. We have no hesitation in recommending this suite for anyone wanting a base for an extended visit to Winnipeg.
